Doesn't get much better with this beautiful on the water dinner and bar setting with all local farm and catch to table. Everything was top notch from the happy hour cocktails and coconut shrimp to our dinner entree of a 3lb lightly fried fish the 2 of us shared as a main entree with the ahi appetizer. Our server Tristan was more than attentive and caught all the fine details to even fixing our wobbly table and kept checking in on us. Live music was a nice touch this Monday evening.

Fabulous dinner, drinks and service at Hualan's last night. Started at the bar with cocktails. The Paloma was great--perfect balance of tart and refreshing. Bartenders were very attentive and engaging. For our meal, we had the whole fried fish as an appetizer for 4. It was visually stunning and the vinegar dip was a nice addition. Three of us had the Dynamite entree and are still talking about the kimchi butter sauce. Tina was our server and was great. She was one of the best servers I have experienced in quite some time. Tina was very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine offerings. She too was very engaging. You could tell this gig was not a side hustle. She was very professional. Live music was great as well. And we had a table with a stunning view. I will make sure to recommend Hualani's to all our friends visiting the island. Upscale yet casual--nicely done!!

Eddie made our entire holiday and my brother's birthday! Went through the menu with us and suggested some of his favorites. Thanks for making my brother feel so special on his 40th birthday "week"! Ask for Eddie when you go! The view was breathtaking and the music was top notch! Go here if you're in Kauai!

While the menu is limited it has good local catch seafood and meat options. It's rather standard appetizers like Coconut Shrimp but the view makes up for it. Service is slow paced like it should be rather than hurrying. Overall a great place to dine. The road leading to the resort and the restaurant is a bit confusing at least when using Google maps and it runs almost the entire length of the golf course.

The monchong and scallops dishes were really good. Setting and views were beautiful and there was a mini hula show during dinner. Wait staff was attentive and helpful. Overall great experience.

Kim our server was awesome and so attentive. The arugula salad and nut crusted fish (I forgot the name) was phenomenal!!!! My friend got the spicy Kapachi which was also delicious. Definitely an amazing place!

Amazing views, must enjoy before it gets dark as afterwards it's just looking into the abyss and hearing the jets land and takeoff from the airport Ambience is five stars but food and service four stars for the price and ambience. All were solid but none were wow like the views: Chilean Sea Bass, Lychee Smoked Ribs, Fresh Fish of the day, Red Thai Curry, Steak

Hualani's was the place to be during sunset. The gorgeous front view of the ocean and lighthouse were to die for. We came when there was a performance and the food was delicious. Our waiter Tron was very informative of the dishes and drinks. We enjoyed our time here. We ordered the coconut shrimps, and potstickers. They both were plentiful of flavor. My friends ordered the sea bass and the fish & chips, Ono seafood dish, and the dynamite dish. Everything was huge in portion and delicious.

Maybe if it hadn't have been a fixed menu the night we ate here. $100 for appetizer, meal and dessert. $45 wine pairing. Didn't do the wine. Food was mostly good. My Ono fish however was oh no! Overcooked. Had a weird hardened texture like it had been frozen but I'm sure it was fresh. Service was good. It was highly windy and no idea we would be sitting outside. Not that it would have been bad as the view is spectacular but the windy conditions put a damper on the experience. Oh well it's the beach! For the price, not worth it. I prefer my own choices rather than limited choices as well as I prefer to share appetizer and dessert. Dress accordingly as windy conditions will be cold.
